Fun Facts: I enjoy playing sports, instruments, and gaming during my free time

I am a UX Designer based in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). Throughout my life, no matter where I would turn to, I have always been pulled back into art- design, photography, painting, dance, modeling, music. And through these different types of art forms, I have constantly seen and have been shared with so many perspectives that has widened my ability to empathize with others which I continue to want to hone in deeper and inspire my designs.

During college, I have had the honor of learning as an art major for the first two years. Being young, I did face pressure to switch to a different major, which I have as my Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and Policy: Public Health.

So after the pandemic hit, like many others, I had more time to really sit with myself and think about what I wanted to do for myself. Of course, that was moving towards art, especially in design. I wanted to incorporate my love for art into a new career, which led me to discovering UX Design! After researching through the internet and asking around, I have decided since then to pursue becoming a designer. Seeing that is has many opportunities to learn different aspects of being a UX designer, I am absolutely looking forward to building my knowledge in this field.

I am currently seeking full-time UX openings, where I can broaden and continue to sharpen my design skills and human understanding, and am very excited to see where this takes me.
